Our workshops are once weekly classes where children attend 1 to 2 hours of classes focusing on a different module of learning each week (ie gears) . Classes and projects get progressively more challenging as the children improve and progress. Camp sessions are intensive and tend to be run during the school holidays. The camps focus on providing a balance of fun and learning. Specific topics of learning are picked for the camps and the program looks at covering curriculum that is not only interesting to learn but enjoyable enough to encourage and spark an interest in learning about technology.
We understand that kids and parents have busy schedules. As much as possible, we’d replace classes that children have missed. We do appreciate that parents give us a call to let us know if they will not be attending a class. All replacement classes are to be completed within the span of 12 weeks in an 8 week term. We will not be able to replace classes that have been missed more than 3 months ago.
Yes, trial classes can be organised if required. Generally children can do their first class with us as a trial class where we only collect the term fee if the parent/child is interested to continue. Should the child/parent not be interested to continue following the trial class, we will collected the pro-rated fee for one lesson without the registration fee.
During the first lesson, our instructors will recommend that the child start the class at the level where we think the child is able to cope given the information we know. If the child shows ability in a particular level, we are able to start the child off at a higher or level where required.
