The instructor student ratio is 1:3. Full class of 7 children.

In RoboCamp Apprentice, we introduce young children between the ages of 5-6 to the world of robotics. We have several themes that are popular and age appropriate for our young campers to explore their interests. We teach and foster curiosity in children, enhancing their skills in science, engineering, technology and programming through fun hands on activities using LEGO® as the educational tool. In addition, our RoboCamp helps children to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the different simulated challenges throughout the week. Learning made fun!

We will be sending the snippet photo compilation of the children taken during the camp to the parents.

Our LEGO® resources are used as an educational tool for all our classes conducted at Worklab. Hence, children are not able to bring the projects home as the pieces will be reused for the other lessons. If your child likes what he/she built, you may consider purchasing the LEGO education sets that we offer exclusively at a price lower than any other retailers for our members. Should you be keen, please contact us to find out more.We will be sending the snippet photo compilation of the children taken during the camp to the parents.

Each child will have access to their own computer or iPad for learning purposes as well as their own LEGO resources and robotics components to work on. Our staffs who lead the classes are usually full time staff who are very familiar with our curriculum. We have a small camper to instructor ratio of 3:1. We encourage parents to sign up and look at our various promotions such as when you recruit a friend to join us.

The ages at camp are determined based on years of experience and take into account many factors such as the exposure to different kinds of technology, ability to understand and execute programming instructions, working with peers of same age, being comfortable away from home and many others. It may be more beneficial for your child to try RoboCamp Apprentice first before considering a more advanced type of program.
