Robocamp is a methodological robotics camp where kids are provided detailed instructions on learning about the mechanics of building and the language of programming. Kids will do different projects each day which focuses on the learning of the mechanics of building + how programming can make a difference by mechanizing the projects. In Robocamp, there are comparatively more projects building and our learning objectives are focused on learning the essentials of mechanics and robotics.
Robobattle is designed as a camp environment where the main objective to help children understand how to solve a given problem within the short span of the camp by using what they have learnt from the robotics classes. Robocamp is an excellent learning ground for children who are keen to learn all about robotics whilst RoboBattle challenges the child to think creatively and be innovative with problem solving using what they already know about Robotics.
Robobattle is recommended for any child above the age of 7. The camp would suit kids who are already familiar with Robotics and are looking for further challenges and /or children who are novices to robotics and would like a snapshot on how fun robotics learning can be.
Different projects are used largely for most our different themed camps however as Robobattle’s learning objectives are not focused on learning to build or to program specifically, there may be a possibility that similar projects are used for the purposes to completing a challenge or demonstrating the versatility of a project.
